An Intrinsic Exquisite

listening to a mime

It's hard
to believe
that a capacity for listening
could have led me to so much trouble and pain

I saw him yesterday
behind the glass wall of his assumptions

I saw someone else
and another
it was like watching mime's try to fight their way our of invisible boxes

they never escape

and we will never see what's holding them back
