just one chair remains
my chair - I paid for it
though you insist it’s part of a suite
two armchairs and a sofa, now you’ve
taken over the house
you say that you hate breaking up sets
(like you and me). Yet you want us
to carve up this chair between us - divided
right down the middle, like Solomon’s baby
I can’t cope with any of this
you can take the chair, but nothing else
